The Application: The membership application is called an NSCADM 001. You can download it as either a PDF or Microsoft Word doc. It has eleven pages, but depending on your situation, you may not need to fill out all of them. For just a visit before joining, please just complete the Google form and pages 1 – 4 of the NSCADM 001.

  • Pages 1-4 are required for everyone. For a cadet to register, we must have their vaccination records, including proof of immunization for polio, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, pertussis, and tetanus plus diphtheria and vaccine for Meningitis.
  • Pages 5-6 are required and must be filled out and signed by the cadet’s medical provider.
  • Pages 7-8 are required for cadets who will be taking medication (either OTC or prescription) at Sea Cadet training. If the cadet is going to take prescription drugs, this form requires the medical provider’s signature.
  • Pages 9-10 are only required if the cadet seeks accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Other cadets do not need to fill out this form.
  • Page 11 is a parental support agreement where we ask parents to pitch in somehow with recruiting, volunteering, fundraising or other support. It is appreciated but not required.

The Dues: In 2024, our dues for the first year of membership are $185. After that, dues are $100 per year. The first-year dues are higher to help defray some of the costs of uniform items that we loan to our cadets. You can pay by check at drill or send a Zelle payment to USNSCC–ALAMO BATTALION, AUSTIN. The email associated with that account is: alamobattalion@gmail.com
