Cadet Kyle Moffett Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Cadet Kyle A. Moffett, a member of Alamo Battalion from age 12 through age 18 (2007 – 2013), passed away in San Antonio on January 20, 2022.

While a Sea Cadet, Kyle served as LPO and as leader of the Color Guard. PO2 Moffett was an extremely dedicated Sea Cadet, attending advanced training in Public Safety, Homeland Security, and serving as a staff cadet for Sea Cadet recruit training.

He was an effective leader and mentor.  He demonstrated a great love of our country, a strong work ethic, and respect towards others.  It was a pleasure to be in his company because he was a kind young man.  He was also a ready volunteer.  He assisted Alamo Battalion adult leadership with many off-site drill preparations, issuing of uniforms and color guard events.

In memory of PO2 Moffett, his loved ones have requested donations in his memory to the Alamo Battalion. Those donations will be used to assist economically disadvantaged cadets attend Sea Cadet annual trainings.
